Cake Mix – This recipe is made with red velvet cake mix, you’ll want to ensure you use a 15.25 oz box of cake mix. You can use other flavors to change this recipe up, try Funfetti or Devil’s Food cake!

Add-Ins – White chocolate chips add sweetness and color contrast to red velvet cookies. Any small candies, nuts or dried fruit can be mixed in at Step 2.

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Drop spoonfuls onto a parchemt lined baking sheet.

4 Ingredient Red Velvet Cookies

Red Velvet Cookies come out perfectly soft and chewy every time!

Prep Time 5 minutes

Cook Time 8 minutes

Total Time 13 minutes

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • In a medium bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, and oil with a spoon. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  • Drop by heaping spoonfuls on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.

  • Bake for 9-11 minutes or until they are set.

  • Cool for 3 minutes on the pan and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

If desired, use a cookie scoop to get even sized cookies.
To keep cookies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
